In
three-phase-four-wire system, there are protective devices between the wires
and the land.
Normally, protective device is high resistance. When urban network is
struck by lighting or others high pulse voltage, protective device will
convey the surge voltage into the earth. So the equipments are protected.
When surge voltage passes the protective device and disappears, the
protective devices return to high resistance.
It won't effect network's normal operation. |
